After 3 years of growth, Nautilus needed a new brand to usher in their new product line

After three years of rapid growth, $34M raised in funding, and the successful launch of three new products, Nautilus Labs was ready for a rebrand to reflect their transformation from a bootstrap startup to a fully established software company.

Specializing in helping oil majors save significant costs on their maritime voyages, Nautilus Labs needed a new identity that aligned with their growing impact in the industry and conveyed their advanced, innovative solutions.

The goal of the rebrand was to simplify the complex nature of Nautilus Labs’ offerings while maintaining a strong, professional presence that would resonate with potential clients. To achieve this, I combined clean, simplified interface design with carefully selected imagery, treated with halftone textures. This design technique helped to break down technical complexity, making their products feel more accessible, understandable, and approachable without sacrificing the depth of their capabilities.

By strategically blending modern, user-friendly design elements with rich textures and clear messaging, we created a visual identity that reflects Nautilus Labs’ position as a trusted, forward-thinking software company. The new brand captures the essence of their transformation, while making their cutting-edge technology more relatable and impactful to their target audience in the maritime and oil industries.
